Underneath the log there is a lot of thinking going on… *nothing very helpful though, despite what you might have been lead to believe… really.. some relief admittedly, and some hunger-type thoughts.

The adoptee and the croc just kept their mouths shut,
there was a lot here to process, a lot to think out!
Tad was happy for now, life felt a bit more secure,
all Garwe could think of was his postponed catch-du-jour!
