Tad and Garwe make it upstream to Gudo, who is sitting as usual on his Log. He knew they were coming, and already has an explanation ready about Tad’s recent virgin-birth from the nostril of a sleeping crocodile.
Upon reaching the log…
“Why, hello there Garwe, I knew you were approaching”

“I heard all about your immaculate birth, simply poor planning and a lack of self worth!
You see their mum was distracted while spawning her eggs, the place that she chose was simply the dregs
- A well known spot where elephant wrangle, tigerfish hunt and fish-eagle angle
You cannot blame her in all her excitement for discharging you immediately from your swollen confinement!”
