2.b. A Sprog for Bloodsucktion…
A less-than-impressed Umhutu expresses his less-than-impressed-opinion, but he seems to come round a bit after thinking what possibilities the new arrangement would offer to somebody of his less-than-wholesome tendencies!
“Thank you Gudo for your exasperating presumption,
but a sprog i have no use for, unless of course, for bloodsucktion
although… he added slyly… i confess I’m intrigued,
One likes the idea of a fresh mind to *plant seed!”

1.j. Too early to be dissing me…
Catching Garwe speaking about him, Umhutu (the afore-mentioned mosquito) *is not impressed… he is on his way to something **dire, in which he seems to be involved, and continues upon his way…
“I heard that O dubious ***devourer of crud
It’s too early to be dissing me, before my first blood!
The baboon is ruminating, I beg you to chill
I’ll see you both later… I’m off to my kill”

*Mosquitoes have feelings too.
** They are also treated with disdain, disrespect and suspicion, on the Dark Continent (forget the Big 5) they are the biggest killers. This is not their fault, all they want is a little sustenance to get them through present-day Africa – the real culprits are microorganisms called Protists that hitch a ride in the female Anopheles (no comment) mosquito’s saliva and cause all the havoc upon transmission to the human innocently going about their business.
***They can also be judgemental.
