And the lesson here is that once you have audience you must *make the most of it! Maybe there’ll be some fish in it for you :-)

So hear this, o worthy,
yet untrusty penguins,
you all have these feelings,
and they’re there for a reason…

… if you become more aware,
more alert to that voice
you’ll avoid bad decisions
and make the right choice!

2.f. Gudo Cast His Mind Out, To Cold Southern Wastes!

0

Now don’t confuse Gudo for some jumped-up monkey on the Zambezi with delusions of grandeur – the *ape was smart, and well-travelled .. these days he sat around on his log for most of the time because he had led a long life of action and adventure, journeying the Earth in search of life’s great answers. Some of these travels had brought him into contact with exceptional individuals who seem to have had life “taped”, as it were.

“So Gudo cast his mind out, to cold Southern wastes,
where penguins every Winter have a life or death race …
… and his old friend Fernando (who is not bothered at all,
by the snow and the sleet and the muck and the bore).

*You have got to know how difficult it is to get everything to rhyme, that is why he is described as an ape, a baboon, a monkey etc. – obviously my intelligent readers know that these are all different types of primates. I have no idea how Dr. Seuss managed to do it.
