Reading Calvin and Hobbes is without fail one of the best ways to relax and have a laugh, and come out feeling so much better about life. The comic strip featuring the life of a six year old kid and his stuffed tiger (that comes alive) when they are alone together delves much further into philosophy and the problems facing our modern world than immediately apparent…The Complete Calvin and Hobbes (Calvin & Hobbes) (v. 1, 2, 3)

“I grew up reading Calvin and Hobbes, and remember being devastated when I learned that Bill Watterson would no longer be drawing my favorite strip anymore. On a trip back to my parent’s house a while back I discovered a few of the dog eared Calvin and Hobbes books that I read repeatedly, and remember that someone had told me about The Complete Calvin and Hobbes a few years earlier, so I jumped at the chance to buy it. In reading it again, I’ve realized that I almost CERTAINLY didn’t get half of the humor in the strips, which made reading it over again almost like a new experience. Watterson did things with Calvin and Hobbes that were enlightening, heartening and beautiful. He is a true American genius that I hope will be appreciated for generations to come. I know when I, hopefully some day, have kids, Calvin and Hobbes will definitely be a part of their life..”
